Ran across an excellent, inspiring post recently by Bud Hunt titled, "An Open Letter to Teachers". Put it on your list of things to read at the start of this academic year. My goal is to glance often at his suggestions so I "wordled" it. Thanks, Bud!

ReplyDeleteYou bet! I just did such a thing with my students about a week ago. Got really positive feedback on this web app. I can see lots of applications for it in the classroom far beyong an introductory activity. :)
I can't wait to print this and hang it by my desk. I like the wordle because it will be a quick visual reminder I can use daily
ReplyDeleteI've heard about wordles, but had forgotten. It's a wonderful reminder of another wonderful activity for kids.
ReplyDeleteJanni: Did you use this with your students? What a great way to get know the students OR review a unit just learned!
ReplyDeleteI like the poster. It is a good reminder to myself why I got into teaching.
ReplyDeleteGot here by way of Lee Kolbert who blogged about Bud's post and while reading the comments discovered your post. I am going to print this Wordle and post it in my room. Thank you for the great visual of the great words of Bud Hunt.
